For information and before
attending please ring the secretary Mr John Rix (01302) 851807
We are mainly a target archery club though
some members attend field shoots (targets in woods etc) most people at the
moment shoot Olympic recurve bows, though one or two make and shoot long bows.
We run have-a-goes (taster sessions) after which there are sets of 6 paid
lessons for people who want to take it further.
After lessons beginners are invited to join the club (or if they desire another
club).
Membership is paid yearly and works out about £1.30 a week at this time, which
includes membership of the G.N.A.S (Grand National Archery Society) and includes
insurance cover.
The sport also caters for disabled people.
